Coffee Illustration

Have u ever gotten bored of painting with paint or food colouring or ink etc.. well, i decided to try out coffee when i accidentally spilt coffee on my one painting. I'm definitely not the best artist in town and drawing is my weak point, but here's one of the coffee paintings i did.

New Found Love :)

On Saturday I experimented with something I always promised myself i wouldn't touch - SOFT PASTELS.
Wow!!!

this was my first attempt, took about 3 hours (A4)

this was attempt number 2... my favourite up to now.. took just over 2 hours (A4)

attempt number 3 - also did a pencil sketch of her... A4

the last one i did - just a quick one to try something new.. took just under an hour (A4)

Working with them was soooo much fun.. Started off by outlining the image in fineliner and then started adding colour.. Here's the results.. I obviously need alot of practice but to be honest - it's fast, easy and creates a much more bolder statement :)
